Privacy Policy

Your Privacy is Important to Us.

MY SETTINGS

General:

We take the careful handling of your personal data very seriously. We strictly adhere to the data protection regulations of the Data Protection Act (DSG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO) when collecting, processing and using your data. Below you will learn more about how we handle your personal data.

Data Collection:

Our privacy policy applies, among other things, to the use of the contact form and the newsletter on this website. The contact form on our website offers interested persons the opportunity to contact us or interact with us. If you provide us with personal data via the contact form, we will use your personal data to answer your inquiry. When you register for the newsletter, your e‑mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

What is Personal Data:

Personal data is any information about a data subject that identifies or makes identifiable the data subject. Information can be any information that can be associated or brought into connection with a person, such as your name, address, e‑mail address, date of birth. We only request that you provide the personal information that we absolutely need to fulfill the order. The data provided will only be used to fulfill the order. We will not otherwise transmit the data to third parties unless this is necessary to carry out an inquiry or service.

Use of Service Providers:

In addition to our own employees, access to your personal data is also limited to employees of additional service providers, if necessary to fulfill the order. Our employees, as well as employees of all commissioned service providers, are bound to secrecy and are obligated to handle personal data with care.

Data Security:

We secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data through technical and organizational measures and take extensive security measures to protect your data from unwanted access.

Server-Logfiles:

When you visit our website, we store the following data (so-called server log files) for the purpose of system and data security, which your Internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider:
— Browser type and version
— Operating system used
— Website from which you visit us “referrer URL”
— Website you visit
— Date and time of your access
— Your Internet Protocol (IP) address
This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. It is evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our website and our offers.

Cookies:

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that make it possible to store certain information about you and your user behavior on our website on your end device (e.g. PC, smartphone, tablet). Cookies allow us to improve the user-friendliness of our website, optimize our website and ensure the functionality of our website. You can allow or prevent the storage of cookies yourself in most browsers. However, please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website. You can delete cookies that are already stored on your end device at any time via the settings in your browser. The first time you visit our website, we will inform you about the use of cookies. By clicking on the “Accept” button in this notice or by continuing to browse our website, you agree to the use of cookies.

Google Analytics:

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help analyze website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, your IP address will be truncated by Google prior to transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services to the website operator related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en). You can find more information about the terms of use and data protection at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/gb/ or at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies.

Google AdWords:

Our website uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and, as part of Google AdWords, conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we may recognize that you clicked on the ad and were directed to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of other AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly (deactivation option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. By visiting our website, you agree to this procedure. You can find further information and the Google privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies.

Use of Google Remarketing:

This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. (“Google”). This function is used to present visitors to the website with interest-based advertising within the Google advertising network. The website visitor’s browser stores so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on their computer and that enable the visitor to be recognized when they visit websites that belong to the Google advertising network. On these pages, the visitor can then be presented with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously viewed on websites that use the Google remarketing function. According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. If you do not want Google Remarketing, you can generally deactivate it by making the appropriate settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the Network Advertising Initiative by following the instructions at https://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. You can find more information about Google Remarketing and the Google privacy policy at https://www.google.com/privacy/ads.

Facebook-Pixel

We use the Facebook pixel from Facebook on our website. For this purpose, we have implemented a code on our website. The Facebook pixel is a snippet of JavaScript code that loads a collection of functions that allow Facebook to track your user actions if you have come to our website via Facebook ads. For example, if you purchase a product on our website, the Facebook pixel will fire and store your actions on our website in one or more cookies. These cookies allow Facebook to match your user data (customer data such as IP address, user ID) with the data of your Facebook account. Facebook then deletes this data again. The data collected is anonymous and not visible to us and is only used for the purpose of advertising. If you are a Facebook user and are logged in, your visit to our website will automatically be assigned to your Facebook user account. We want to show our services or products only to those people who are really interested in them. With the help of the Facebook pixel, our advertising measures can be better tailored to your wishes and interests. This way, Facebook users (if they have allowed personalized advertising) will see relevant advertising. Facebook also uses the collected data for analysis purposes and its own advertising. If you are logged in to Facebook, you can change your settings for advertising yourself at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. If you are not a Facebook user, you can generally manage your usage-based online advertising at https://www.youronlinechoices.com. There you have the possibility to deactivate or activate providers. If you want to learn more about Facebook’s privacy policy, we recommend that you read the company’s own data policy at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

Information, Correction and Deletion of Your Data:

According to the Data Protection Act, you have the right to request information from us about what data we have stored and used about you. If your data stored with us is incorrect, we will correct it at your request. You can contact us at the above address in this regard. You have the right to block and delete the data stored about you. If the deletion is contradicted by legal retention obligations or other legally anchored reasons, only the blocking of your data can be carried out instead of the deletion.
